Paul Leibowitz leads Capalino Ventures real estate engagements, establishing project strategy, providing financial underwriting and guidance, raising capital, and arranging partnerships and joint ventures.

Paul brings 30 years of experience in real estate capital markets and advisory work, having structured $30 billion of high-profile transactions in New York City over his career.

Prior to joining Capalino Ventures, Paul helped build and expand a new capital markets practice within Savills, and previously worked at CBRE for 20 years, where he navigated the transaction process and negotiated deals from $5 million to $5 billion, comprising dispositions and acquisitions, leasehold sales, partial interest sales, ground leases and various joint ventures.

Paul directed prominent transactions that established national or New York City record-setting metrics on 10 separate occasions and was named CBRE Investment Properties Professional of the Year in Manhattan on six separate occasions and was four times a CBRE Colbert Circle honoree. Paul was a member of the recipient team for the 2014 REBNY Henry Hart Award given to the Atlantic Yards transaction, the highest accolade in the New York real estate industry.

A native New Yorker residing in Brooklyn, Paul is also a founder of IndieSpace, a non-profit supporting the independent theater community in New York City. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and holds an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
